Directions
Coppards Road is in the Geelong suburb of Moolap, on the East side of Geelong.
21 Coppards Road is located at its North end, 200 metres from Portarlington Road.
From the CBD of Geelong, follow the Portarlington Road past the Geelong High School, Eastern Gardens and CSIRO (all on your right).
When you see the Funeral Parlour on your right, you will have reached Coppards Road.
Turn right into Coppards Road, and Coppards Rest is 200m up the road, just past the 60 speed sign on your left.
The property has a picket fence and a flag pole with the Australian flag.
Linda Madden is located in a separate house at the rear of the property.
When you reach the property, please telephone her and she will come and meet with you.
Children Friendly: Large Yard
Our backyard is secure for children to play. Children can jump on the trampoline, feed our friendly chickens and collect their delicious eggs for their breakfast. We have a selection of family DVDs to choose from.
Things to Do around Geelong to Enjoy your Stay
There is a large indoor pool only minutes away along Coppards Road.
There are also a couple restaurants and a shopping centre near by.
We are only a 10 minutes drive from Geelong CBD, with plenty of parking where you will find:
– Westfield and Market Square shopping centres (with easy parking),
– Royal Geelong Yacht Club,
– the Geelong Art Gallery,
– the National Wool Museum,
– the Ford Museum,
– Deakin University with Costa Hall where many functions are held,
– Eastern Beach,
– a beach, pool and enclosed semi-circle promenade with swimming and a nice walk by the bay,
– lots of cafes and restaurants on the Waterfront.
East Geelong Golf Course and the Botanic Gardens are an easy drive away.
And further away are:
– Adventure Park for the young ones,
– lots of wineries,
– wonderful Bellarine Peninsula beaches.
The Tourist Information Centre is located in the National Wool Museum on the corner of Moorabool and Brougham Streets.
